On March 18 of the current year, a scientific and theoretical conference entitled “Rabia Balkhi and the Formation of the Tradition of Women’s Poetic Expression in Tajik-Persian Literature” was held at Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki. The event was dedicated to the 1050th anniversary of Rabia Balkhi, the first female poet of Tajik-Persian literature, and was organized within the framework of the educational policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon. Scholars and researchers participated in the conference.







By order of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, humanitarian aid has been sent to the friendly and fraternal people of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Tajikistan\'s humanitarian aid comprises 3,610 tons of cargo, including 45 tons of medicines, a large volume of sanitary and hygiene products, children\'s clothing, various food products, household items, bedding, tents, construction materials, and other necessary supplies. The Tajik humanitarian aid convoy, consisting of 110 large trucks, departed for the Islamic Republic of Iran on March 18 and will soon arrive in this friendly and fraternal country.
In the city of Kulob, with the aim of implementing the cultural policy of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, a festive initiative titled “Paiki Navruz” has been launched to welcome the International Holiday of Navruz. As part of this initiative, early in the morning, a group of institutional employees drove through the city\'s main highways in vehicles decorated with national elements, including Chakan and Suzani embroidery, announcing the arrival of Navruz to the residents with music and a festive atmosphere.
On March 17, 2026, a scientific and theoretical conference entitled “Navruz as the Embodiment of Aryan Philosophy” was held at Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki, initiated by the Department of Philosophy and dedicated to the International Navruz holiday. The conference brought together scholars, researchers, and students who discussed various philosophical, historical, and cultural aspects of Navruz, as well as the contribution of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the достойное presentation of this ancient holiday on the international stage.
On March 16, 2026, the next meeting of the “Young Geographer-Travelers” club was held at the Center for Professional Development and Innovation of Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki. The club operates under the Department of Geography and Tourism of the Faculty of Geography and Digital Economy. The event was attended by representatives of the Department of Science and Innovation, the faculty administration, lecturers of the department, and students.
The most joyful and symbolic day of the year in Central Asia is March 21, celebrated as Navruz, the traditional New Year of many peoples of the region. Navruz is one of the oldest and most cherished holidays in Tajikistan. It marks the arrival of spring, the season when nature awakens from its winter sleep and life begins anew. On this day, the length of day and night becomes equal, symbolizing balance, renewal, and harmony in nature. The word “Navruz” comes from two Persian/Tajik words: “nav” meaning new and “ruz” meaning day, together forming the meaning “New Day.” With the beginning of Navruz, farmers traditionally start their agricultural work, preparing fields and gardens for a new season of growth and prosperity.
At Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki, a meeting of the scientific club “World of Thought”, operating under the Department of Philosophy, was held with the participation of the department’s teaching staff and students from various faculties of the university.
On March 13, 2026, at Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Ayni, within the framework of the Third Forum of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan titled “Higher Education and Science of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan: New Horizons of Cooperation,” a number of important cooperation documents were signed.
An information session was held at Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki within the framework of implementing the provisions of the “National Plan for Combating Human Trafficking for 2025–2027.” Representatives of relevant institutions, as well as faculty members and students, took part in the event. The meeting was opened by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Associate Professor Eraj Abdusamadzoda, who welcomed the guests and emphasized that preventing human trafficking and raising public awareness-especially among young people-is one of the important social issues. He noted that holding such events contributes to increasing students’ legal awareness and preventing negative social phenomena.
